Lamanai Maya Ruin

• Travel by boat along the New River and witness the same flora and fauna ancient Mayan traders observed on the way to the Lamanai ancient city.

• Lamanai, or "submerged crocodile," is off the beaten track-perhaps the reason why it thrived for over 3000 years

• Lamanai is also a botanical and wildlife reserve and showcases many native exotic birds and plants used for medicinal and commercial purposes. Most trees are labeled along the trails for easy identification

Rainforest Walk

• On the way to cave tubing, a  nature hiking through the rainforest jungle. Along the walk you will be shown the flora and fauna as well as herbs used for medicinal purposes by the ancient Mayas.
• After the rainforest hike you will then reach the cave branch river and enter in an inner tube and enter a tunnel where you will be floating in a system of Caves. It is one of the most sensational tour of Belize.

Zip Line

• The Aerial Trek Canopy Tour offers the adventurous tourists a thrilling opportunity to soar through the jungle treetops high above the forest floor. The canopy tour involves traversing from one platform to another along a steel cable suspended up to 80 feet above the forest floor.
•  Upon arrival you will be given a safety briefing and outfitted with safety gear that includes a body harness, pulleys, helmet and gloves. After you are fully geared up and checked, your tour then starts off with a short educational hike up to the first platform.
  Here a new world unfolds as you gently slide along on a steel cable to the next tree platform. All tours are escorted through the forest canopy by a lead guide and a follow guide to ensure your safety. The guides explain the different areas of the ecosystem you are experiencing. Your tour will take you over all platforms. Along the way you will enjoy the birds eye view of the beautiful pristine ecosystem. When you arrive on the last platform you will then need to repel to the ground. The tour will take approximately an hour.

• The Belize Zoo was founded in 1983 as a retirement home for natural history "movie stars." It has since become a refuge and rehabilitation center for injured wildlife, as well as a home for abused and abandoned "pets."
