Green Building Reserve
The
Green Building Reserve comprises several
subdivisions of land owned and reserved by The
Orchid Garden Eco-Village. The half acre lots are located just
a fifteen minute car drive north of Belize City’s International Airport,
close to the famous Crooked Tree Reserve, which to date has
provided a home for 285 different species of bird along and around its
twenty miles of lagoon and Riverine forest.
Based on the
Concept of Sustainable Development, the Reserve is planned for green
building, and/or the creation of a Nature Reserve. When anyone acquires
ownership of one of these plots of land, they can keep it (or further
develop it) as a nature reserve, or build their retirement/vacation home
on it, as long as the building follows the guidelines of our Green
Building model.
There are
currently around 200 half-acre plots reserved for stage one of these
developments. We believe that our Reserve presents an unparalleled
opportunity for individuals to enjoy the benefits and challenges of an
eco-sustainability experience in this most beautiful part of the world,
and we invite you to waste no time in applying to be a part of it. |
