Tropical Eco-Sustainability Experience |
Tropical
Eco-Sustainability Experience (TROPECOSE) is a program to
promote Eco-Sustainability as a concept, as a developing habit,
and finally as a way of life. The programs contain interactive
tropical tours which lead to an increased appreciation of the
beauty of Nature, and the diversity of cultures in Belize. Our
hotel offers culinary dishes from each of the food cultures
represented here, and also some examples of eco-sustainability
in practice.
5 Day TROPECOSE Belize uses active tour experiences to
stimulate discussion and encourage reflection on both the
practical and philosophical aspects of eco-sustainability. Our
TROPECOSE programs aim to provide holidaymakers, students and
researchers with highly enjoyable vacations while encouraging
commitment to sustainability in their own communities and
beyond.
We invite those who are willing to support our mission to join
our membership program

Tropical Rainforest &
Cave
Tubing |
 |
Enjoy a nature hike through the rainforest jungle on the way
to cave tubing. Along the way the local flora
and fauna will be pointed out, including some
herbs used for medicinal purposes by the ancient
Maya. On reaching the river, you will climb on
to an inner tube and float through a tunnel
which leads to a system of Caves. It is one of
the most sensational tours of Belize. |
|
New River Cruise &
Lamanai Maya Ruin |
 |
|
Travel by boat along the New River and witness
the same flora and fauna ancient Mayan traders
observed on the way to the ancient city of
Lamanai.
Lamanai, or "submerged crocodile," is off our
beaten track - yet it thrived for over 3000
years.
Lamanai is also a botanical and wildlife reserve
and showcases many native exotic birds and
plants used for medicinal and commercial
purposes.
Most trees are labeled along the trails for easy
identification

Caribbean Sea, lounge under one of its palapas
